Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Gen AI Lab ("we", "us"). By creating an account, signing in, or using Gen AI Lab (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Rules. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and invite-only access
The Service is available by invitation only. An account can be created only by us. You must be at least 18 years old, or have verifiable consent from a parent or guardian if we allow younger members. You must give true information and keep it up to date.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for everything done through it. Keep your password private, do not share your account, and tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised access. We may require you to reset your password to protect your account.
4. Your profile and visibility
A real name and profile photo are required. Your profile is public by default, and you can make it private at any time in Settings. Content you post with a Public audience can be seen by anyone with the link, including search engines where allowed, and may remain in third-party caches after you remove it.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, format, and share your content as needed to operate and promote the Service, in line with the audience you choose. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for backups, content others have reshared, and records we must keep by law. You confirm that you hold the rights to what you post and that it breaks no law or third-party right.
6. Acceptable use
You must not break any law; infringe anyone's rights; harass or threaten anyone; post unlawful, sexual, hateful, or misleading content; impersonate anyone; collect other members' data; send spam; use bots, scrapers, or automated access; probe, test, or bypass security; reverse engineer the Service; upload malware; manipulate checklists, attendance, shares, or reactions; or interfere with the Service. You must also follow the Community Rules.
7. Labs, checklists, and final projects
Lab requirements may change between batches and are set by us. Progress is decided by our records. Final projects are reviewed by faculty or staff, whose decision is final, subject to any appeal route we provide.
8. Certificates
A certificate is issued only after your final project is approved. It records completion of a program on this Service and does not by itself give any degree, licence, or government recognition unless stated. We may revoke or reissue a certificate if it was obtained by false information, plagiarism, or error. Verification pages show its current status.
9. AI features
The Service uses artificial intelligence to suggest your group and to draft parts of your profile. AI output can be wrong. You should review and edit what it suggests, and staff can change a placement. AI output is not professional advice.
10. Third-party services
The Service links to or embeds third-party services, such as YouTube, LinkedIn, and meeting providers. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, its design, software, and brand belong to Gen AI Lab or its licensors. These Terms give you no rights in them except a limited, personal, revocable right to use the Service.
12. Moderation, suspension, and termination
We may review, hide, or remove content, and warn, restrict, suspend, or close accounts that break these Terms or put others at risk. We will usually tell you why and offer an appeal. You may close your account at any time. Clauses that by nature should continue will survive closure.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by law, we give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will produce any job, income, funding, or business result. Member content reflects the views of its authors, not ours.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data, or goodwill. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for claims and costs arising from your content or from your breach of these Terms, to the extent allowed by law.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [City] have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you hold.
17. Grievances
Complaints about content or the Service can be sent to our Grievance Officer, [Grievance Officer name], at help@example.com. We will acknowledge complaints and resolve them within the time required by law.
18. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will tell you about material changes and may ask you to accept them again. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
